Institute of Mathematics

SStudents of the Institute of Mathematics of the Jagiellonian University took part in the 21st Vojtěch Jarník International Mathematical Competition which was held from 30th of March to 1st of April 2011. In the competition participated mainly by students from the central Europe, although in the recent years attended also by students from the whole Europe and from other continents, our students achieved very good results

In the younger category, up to the 3rd year of studies, 67 participants took part. Our students (all at the 2nd year of studies) reached the following results:

1. Mikołaj Frączyk,
10. Mikołaj Bińkowski,
19. Konrad Żołna

The older category was attended by 79 participants. The following students reached the top results:

1. Przemysław Mazur,
7. Jakub Konieczny,
18. Maciej Gawron.
